1. Do you think it was necessary for Mr Hamid to take another wife? Give reasons for

your answer. What is your opinion on polygamy?

In my opinion, i think its unnecessary for Mr hamid to take another wife because he has a complete family such as ten children, his wife capable wife who can organized his household completely. Related to this story, mr hamid seem has a financial problem because he can afford his 1st family school needed. And mr hamid cant give silly reason why he wanted to take another wife. Is ot because of his wife dont want join club or anything outside of that family. Maybe she has a reason why, maybe she wanted give full comitmen to the family. She wanted to be a role model for her children. In my opinion about polygamy, i disagree.polygamy is is a marriage which includes more than two partners and must be fair. but it has a lot of impact especially to children and family instituition.
a) Impact on children.

the children feels fatherless. polygamy also give the negative impact to children future because they feel unsecure about marriage. And also, a grieving mother who os depressed may not be suitable aware of her childrens misbehaviours and thus diciplining them at all. Related to this story, we can see the eldest son, johan seem uncomfortable with their life, because when guest coming and ask where your father, he cant answer.
b) Time management.

polygamy is second marriage, so, he had 2 or more family, so he had problem in time management. Based on this story, mr hamid didnt spend much time with his 1st family.
c) Increase the divorce number in malaysia.

Men rather satisfied their 2nd wife then 1st wife, so, this story, mr hamid didnt appreciate their 1st wife.
d) It can lead to women mental abuse.
