JOB DESCRIPTION: Title of the position: Windows Server Admin Department: Infrastructure Management Reports to: Team Lead

Overall responsibility: Windows Server Support / AD Experience Required: For Windows L2 2-4 Years of troubleshooting windows servers For Windows L3 4-7 Years of troubleshooting windows servers Key areas of responsibility: 1. Excellent Communication Skills 2. Excellent troubleshooting skills 3. Strong knowledge on Windows NT4, 2000 & Windows 2003/2008 including a. Active Directory. b. File & Print management c. Group Policy d. Performance Management e. Windows Clusters (Windows 2003 & Windows 2008) f. NLB g. IIS 4. Virtualization Hyper-v, VMware, Citrix (if know). 5. Should have good knowledge in backup products 6. Should have worked with Windows Resource Kit Support tools. 7. Should have knowledge on RCA preparation. 8. ITIL foundation certified or strong understanding of ITIL practices. 9. Expertise in WINS, DNS, DHCP & TCP/IP protocol suite and command line utilities 10. Knowledge on System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) & System Center Operations Manager (SCOM) will add an advantage. 11. Scripting knowledge such as VB Scripts will be an added advantage 12. Should have worked with OEM hardware (IBM/HP), & remote connectivity tools 13. Should have worked with more than one patching & antivirus tools 14. Knowledge of Windows Registry, including knowledge of modifying system registry to support installed applications and document configuration changes. Consults with Tape Operators Oracle, SQL DBA Teams System administrators Tier III Command Center Change manager
