March 2012 Prayer Household of the Month Each month well pray for a specific unit.

For the month of March, please pray for the Raleigh unit. They are: Abby Drader Sofia Hess Doro Isaak Chris Wagoner Jack Younger Todd & Leah Gusler Prayer Request Pray for the upcoming Support Committee meeting March 30-31 in Kansas. Pray for units who are doing recruitment trips this month. Pray that we find a leader for the Anchorage unit.

Meet the Raleigh Unit!


Each month we will use this newsletter as a way to learn more about whats going on throughout Service Adventure and to get to know people in a specific location. This month we are focusing on the Raleigh, North Carolina Service Adventure unit. Enjoy getting to know a bit about who they are and what they are doing this year.

Top Ten Things the Raleigh unit has done in random order: Going to the Hershberger's lake house/mansion for the weekend (They have an elevator in their house!) Going downtown for Winterfest Always meaning to go to First Fridays but never actually going Carolina Hurricanes hockey game NC State Fair Atlanta Trip (Coke museum, MLK site) Experiencing an earthquake and a hurricane during the first week of orientation. Starting a food blog (details coming) Simplicity Challenges (no meat, no lights after dark, one hour of computer time a day...) Eating Carolina BBQ at the Pit and at Coopers.
