Mi nm, trung bnh cc cng ty quc t dnh mt ngn sch chim 4 5% doanh thu cho vic Nghin cu th trng (NCTT). Cc doanh nghip Vit Nam chi khong 40 triu USD, Phillipines chi 80 triu USD v Thi Lan chi hn 100 triu USD cho hot ng ny. Nhng thng k trn phn no cho thy tm quan trng ca NCTT trong hot ng kinh doanh cng nh Marketing ca doanh nghip, bi n l nn tng cho vic lp k hoch v trin khai hot ng lin quan n sn phm hoc thng hiu ca cng ty.
