I talked to several workers and several safety and site officers to know the current situation in the site

regarding the Occupational Health and safety in the site how the work is progressing in the site when it comes to welfare.

The workers were happy about the overall health and safety measures introduced in the site, but some were not used to this safety equipment, so the site managers sometimes have a hard time with some laborers regarding this safety equipment.

One of the safety engineers pointed out that the health and safety division mainly focus on the individual health and safety of the workers. Furthermore he added that the welfare in the site is also done accordingly and a special group is assigned to take care of the welfare measures in the site.

Many health and safety regulations according to the Factories Ordinance No. 45 of 1942 are fulfilled in this site. But at the same time there were a number of incidents in this project so far which required he safety team to think twice about the safety in the site.

I was told that these incidents were managed carefully and necessary precautions were taken by the safety engineers to prevent those accidents happening again.

Furthermore a safety officer told me that they are doing their best to make sure that the safety measures are being implemented in the site. Even if it is hard they pay individual attention sometimes to make sure that all the workers are safe and sound in the site.
