With iKaraoke, you can sing along with your favorite tunes. iKaraoke isolates the lead vocals and fades them into the background; it blends your vocals into the music, and sends your singing and accompaniment to your stereo via the included audio cable Using iKaraoke could not be simpler. 1, Plug iKaraoke’s cord into the dock connector of your iPod and start playing music. 2, Use the included audio cable to connect the headphone port of your iPod to the Line In or Auxiliary In port of your stereo system 3, Turn the lead vocals On or Off using the oblong slider Vocals switch. In the Off position, iKaraoke’s LED Ring lights up and glows red, and the volume of the lead vocals will be drastically reduced, leaving the instrumental accompaniment and backing vocals intact. Enough of the original lead vocal is retained to serve as a guide in your performance. You can use the Vocals switch to help keep your place by temporarily adding the original vocals back in. Note that the effects of the Vocals switch may vary from track to track, depending on how the track was recorded.Karaoke outputs a monaural signal containing both the accompaniment and your vocals, and adds a touch of reverb to blend your vocals with the accompaniment and enhance the music with a big room sound. Automatic Shutoff Karaoke features an automatic shutoff function. After 50 seconds of inactivity, iKaraoke will turn itself off. To turn iKaraoke back on, begin playing music on your iPod.
