Application Note Purpose:

This Document shows how to capture images using the QX Hawk and a Telnet client. Note: This setup used a CCD QX Hawk (1280 x 960). Image dimensions and screen captures may differ from the CMOS QX Hawk (752 x 480).

If that doesnt work, reboot the unit with <A>, reconnect, then try adding <op,1> between the trigger and <op,9>: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. Connect to 192.168.10.50, port 2001 using ESP. (Example IP Address and Port #) < > (trigger). <op,9> (file list replied). <op,1> (Enter ESP mode: unit replies with <op,001,0,1>. <op,20,/noread/0/752x480_gs.bmp>. Response from QX-Hawk: <op,020,0> (020 is the normal format of the response.) TFTP 192.168.10.50 get image.bmp. (Example IP Address) When done getting the image, send <op,1,0> to exit ESP mode. Unit responds with <op,001,0,0>.

Application Note
TFTP client setup: 1. Select the TFTP Client tab. 2. Server interface = PCs IP address.

3. Click the Get button, then click OK.
