Windows XP (You may simply remove the C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Applic ation Data\WildPackets and open again)

The steps below will cover a complete uninstall and removal of any trace of Wild Packets and reinstall a clean version of OmniPeek.

If you have custom filters, graphs, etc. please back them up from the following directory: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\WildPackets\OmniPeek

Then do the following:

1) Uninstall OmniPeek using Add/Remove Programs

2) Delete C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\WildPackets

3) Delete C:\Program Files\WildPackets

4) Delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\WildPackets

After opening regedit, highlight Computer, go to Edit->Find, type in WildPackets and click Find Next. Delete the first WildPackets line and from there hit F3 the n delete any other line you find WildPackets in until there are no more.

Reboot the machine.

Note: If they want to reinstall it, follow the instructions below

Make sure you disable any Anti-Virus software before installing OmniPeek.

Windows 7 (You may simply remove the C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\WildPacke ts and open again)

The steps below will cover a complete uninstall and removal of any trace of Wild Packets and reinstall a clean version of OmniPeek.

If you have custom filters, graphs, etc. please back them up from the following directory: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\WildPackets\OmniPeek

Then do the following:

1) Uninstall OmniPeek using Add/Remove Programs

2) Delete C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\WildPackets

3) Delete C:\Program Files\WildPackets

4) Run Regedit

After opening regedit, highlight Computer, go to Edit->Find, type in WildPackets and click Find Next. Delete the first WildPackets line and from there hit F3 the n delete any other line you find WildPackets in until there are no more.

Reboot the machine.
