Tener Idioms Group Assignment Its your turn to shine in the spotlight!

You and your fellow students have been chosen to create a commercial in Spanish! The commercial can be about whatever product or service you want (a real or fictional product/service). Your group must adhere to the following guidelines: 1. Your product or service must relate to familiar vocabulary. Look back at the book chapters and material weve covered thus far and brainstorm ideas. All group members must be in the commercial at some point in time and each member must have at least three speaking lines (in Spanish!). The commercial must be at least one minute long. The script must contain the vocabulary and grammar requirements set forth below. Have fun! Be prepared and be creative!

Requirements: Tener must be used in all six conjugated forms. Possessive Adjectives must be used in all six forms. IR + a + infinitive must be used at least 5 times. 3 other verbs (in addition to tener) must be used. (No) Me gusta/me encanta must be used at least once. One Tener Idiom must be used at least once. Both Ser and Estar must be used at least twice (correctly!).

Grading: The written portion is worth 50 points and the performance portion is worth 50 points. Together this assignment will count as a Quiz grade, and will be graded according to the general guidelines here: Written portion (50 points) You include all of the above requirements, demonstrating correct usage of vocabulary and grammar, and attention to mechanics. Oral portion (50 points) You use correct pronunciation with attention to vowel sounds, pronunciation does not interfere with comprehension, you sound authentic and as if you are truly an actor in a Spanish commercial. I can hear you clearly and there is little to no mumbling, pauses, hesitation, or English sounds.
