STRATEGIC PLAN FOR THE NEXT 5 YEARS

MISSION To be an effective and efficient health practitioner who fosters herself in service of people in need of her care and will relentlessly imbibe the Ignatian Spirit in every way possible. VISION To be a person of values and principles in the practice of her chosen profession and as she continuously search for fulfilment in life, nurtures and cherishes the vital tenets of her field of work as she renders service to others and put high regard to the importance of being a man/woman for others. PHILOSOPHY I believe that I am able, that I possess the inherent capability to achieve most anything that I put my mind into with persistence and enduring patience. I also believe the Almighty, with His unending wisdom and guidance, can sustain me in my journey to reach my dreams. I value life, not just mine, but especially that of others, and I strongly believe that life should be respected and that every person should be regarded as unique individuals who should be given time, effort and attention in the name of freedom, justice and truth. GOAL 5 years from now, I will be a registered nurse holding a Masters degree in Nursing and is employed in a distinguished hospital in the country. OBJECTIVES To achieve my goal, I have the following objectives: - To be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing in March 2012 - To pass the Nurse Licensure Examination on July 2012 - To obtain a Masters degree in Nursing from a competent educational institution - To get hired in a competent hospital with a valid remuneration - To acquire a few years of substantial clinical experience

STRENGTHS -effective communicator -determined and intrinsically motivated -assertive -compassionate and caring -knowledgeable of the basics in nursing -flexible WEAKNESSES -fears criticisms and embarrassments

OPPORTUNITIES -enough time to pursue advanced studies related to my field of profession

THREATS -lack of employment for nurses in the country
