WEATHER DATA Abstract The purpose of this report is to present the climatological data for the city of Norfolk, Virginia during the Second Quarter of calendar year 2010. This quarter includes the months of April, May, and June. The included data consists of the Maximum (max), Minimum (min), and Average (avg) temperatures for each day of the reported months. It also includes the number of Heating Degree Days (HDD) and Cooling Degree Days (CDD), which reflect the amount of energy required to heat or cool homes or businesses on each day of the reported months. The preceding information will also be displayed graphically, as Maximum and Minimum temperatures, Average temperatures, and Heating Degree Days and Cooling Degree Days, for each day of the reported months. The information is presented by month, with April as Appendix 1 (National Weather Service, 2010), May as Appendix 2 (National Weather Service, 2010), and June as Appendix 3 (National Weather Service, 2010). The Information used in this report was gathered from the National Weather Service website and is deemed credible. It could be used to project the current and future energy needs of homes and businesses in the city of Norfolk, Virginia, as well as the surrounding areas.
