Congratulations on being selected for the OSHS JV Field Hockey team.

This is a great accomplishment- you should be proud of yourself. You were selected based on skill, character, attitude and willingness to be a team player. You are now on a TEAM. Below are some guidelines to have a successful season. Please read them carefully and sign at the bottom. 1. All players will meet on the Field Hockey field at 3:45 prepared for practice ( Monday Friday: shin guards, stick, water bottle, mouth piece, hair control device and a great attitude) Practice will conclude at 6:00 Tardiness is not acceptable. 2. All players are expected to be at all practices and games. OSHS field hockey needs to be your #1 priority after school for the next few weeks. Players must notify Miss Henry or Miss Golt before missing a practice or a game (e-mail or send a note with another team mate). Any player that misses practice the day before a game, they will not start in the game. 3. All players will conduct themselves appropriately during the school day. Any problems or concerns from teachers will be dealt with by Miss Henry or Miss Golt and the player. 4. All players are expected to ride the bus to and from the away games. 5. Uniforms- you are responsible for washing your uniform Read washing instructions 6. All players are expected to treat teammates and coaches with respect. Any player that cannot do that will be removed from the team. WE ARE A TEAM AND WE WILL WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM.
