OBJECTIVE
Objective of this project is to

control the movements of the rover in different directions

INTRODUCTION
Speech recognition is the process of converting

speech signals in to a sequence of words by means of an algorithms implemented as a computer program. A rover is a moving vehicle which can move in any direction as per the control signals . Rover follows five instructions; STRAIGHT, RIGHT, LEFT, BACKWARD and STOP.

This is very helpful for handicapped people;

they can control their vehicle by using simple speech commands.

FUTURE SCOPE
The project can be implemented in

embedded system form RSC 300/364 are microcontrollers dedicated for the speech recognition process. The latest controllers from SENSORY INC includes the 4X and 6X series of microcontrollers that are dedicated for the same, having superior quality and better speech compression.

CONCLUSION
Rover can be controlled using voice

commands. Speech recognition rover we have done as mini project is a useful system for handicaps. Speech recognition is remarkable and opens new world of application. Here the most difficult part is speech recognition.
