1rst draft A Visit To The Sarawak Cultural Village Kuching On the 7th of June 2012, 24 trainees of BMM 1 went

for an education visit to the Cultural Village Kuching. We went there to fulfill a partial requirement of our teacher training programme and to enrich our knowledge about the cultural of all races in Malaysia. All of us gathered in front of Muhibah Hall at 7 a.m in the morning . The bus that we charted arrived at 8.30 a.m in the morning. We took 12 hours to reach there. After check-in, we had a bath and have a rest. The next morning, we went to our destination. Before entering the Cultural Village, we had to pay for the entrance fee. There were many traditional houses built inside. The first house we went was the long house. We learnt how to dance warrior dance and how to produce rice wine. We also have opportunity to taste the rice wine. Most of us liked the clothes that were made by Iban which they called Pua Kumbu. After that, we went to the Malays house. We learnt how to make ketupat case and how to cook rendang. We also saw many kind of clothes that we familiar with like, baju kabaya, baju kurung and many more. We also learnt about Malay traditional games like, sepak raga, tops spinning and many more. Later, we had our dinner at the restaurant nearby. After that, we learnt some Chinese traditions. We learnt how to make Nian Gao a type of dessert that they usually have during Chinese New Year. We also had opportunity to perform Lion Dance and
Fan Dance. We also learnt to make Chinese dumpling, moon cake and many more. We also gained knowledge about the festivals they celebrated. Late in the afternoon, we went to others races houses. We just went there of a while because we lack of time. We went back to our hotel and check-out. We went back that by around 6 p.m. We arrived home the next morning.
