Space Shark & Me

-The Adventures of the Space Butterfly-Birthday Bonanza BashIn the great rolling plains of Space, a very eager Butterfly called Puttens was readying up for his birthday. His marvellous baby blue wings were fluttering in anticipation at the brilliant day he had been promised. Chrondrich, his mentor and teacher, and also a Space Shark, cant forget that point, had promised that today would be the day where they would go to Nectar Land Where good little Space Boys & Girls go Puttens had been readying himself for months for this, ever since the Shark had nonchalantly mentioned that he himself would be taking Puttens on his spawning day (Sharks have really weird terminology) to this wonderland of all things Space. He had cleaned his wings last night, and scrubbed really hard behind his antennae and was waiting for the Shark to turn the next moon and collect him. The Butterfly was waiting for hours upon hours before he finally sighted the Shark turning around Artemis Rock Concert XIV to pick him up. Chrondrich! Youre finally here! squealed Puttens in relief, his wings flapping like a maniac and causing untold disaster to nearby civilizations. Why wouldnt I be here, little one? Asked Chrondrich, his impassive voice sparking emotion untold, Its your Spawning Day, the day you were unleashed upon this universe! Of course I would be here, with my present no less! Present?! Cried Puttens, his wings going into overdrive, creating tornadoes for the unfortunate worms on ARC XIV Yes! A Space Dictionary! I mean... that is what the kids are down with recently, right? Puttens frowned here, his wings slowing down and settling into a melancholy beat. But... we are still going to Nectar Land, right? Right? He asked, his voice teetering on tears. Nectar Land? Chrondrich looked puzzled a performed mild aerobics whilst he though. Oh yes... I was going to take you there wasnt I... next year? The Butterfly looked as if he was going to cry before the Shark rushed over to him and comforted him with his body. There there, Butterfly. Its the thought that counts, right? He said, his voice taking on lullaby tones. I suppose, Chrondrich The butterfly sniffed, his heart broken. I suppose.
