Method of Analysis Appereance : Orange Color Liquid (for orange) Brownish Color Liquid (for apple) Brix: PH:

(A) TOTAL CHLORIDESTitrate 50 ml of sample solution. Add 50 ml of water. And titrate With 0.1 M Silver Nitrate using potassium chromate solution as indicator. 1 ml of 0.1 M Silver Nitrate is equivalent to 0.003545 g of chloride. (B) VITAMIN C (ASORBIC ACID)Shake the tetrapak, which is going to be used for analysis for 5 to 10 minutes. Take 20 ml of solution; add a mixture of 10 ml dilute sulphuric acid and 80 ml of carbon dioxide free water. Add 1 ml of freshly prepared starch indicator solution. Titrate with 0.005 M iodine solution until a permanent violet blue color is obtained. 1 ml of 0.005 m iodine is eg.to 0.881 mg of vitamin c.
