    1. Differentiation of a constant , c .

    (c) = 0
    A constant can be any number except 0 .

    e.g when given y = 4 ,

    2. Differentiation of Xn where n= 1,2,3..

    ( xn ) = nxn-1

    Bring down power, minus one
