The aim of this paper is to show the role of the Educational Advisor within the school, as well as the

challenges faced in throughout its educational activities. Those that guide this research try to show the true role of the Mentor, addressing the following themes: The Beginning of Educational Guidance, their ethics professional role in educational process and their challenges in the public school today. However this work has provided us with an amplified vision the function orientation and exposed the true role of the advisor, in order to be clear, the challenges facing the students integration into society without dismiss the student as subject and individual endowed with rights and duties.
