3. To the right of each shot, make sure you indicate what type of shot is necessary (close-up, medium shot,
long shot or text), Then you must describe the action that is to take place in that shot. (5 pts. Each)
4. A close up shows only one face or object. An extreme close-up shows only a small object or part of a
face. A medium shot shows from the waist to the top of the head. A long shot shows the entire body. A
text shot is of words only.
5. You may have a maximum of 18 shots, and a minimum of 12 shots for telling your story. The Title &
The End shots do not count.
6. Your first and last shots may be text shots. The first shot is a Title Shot, and the last shot is The End.
7. Other than the first and last shots, you may use a maximum of 4 text shots.
