the studioworks philosophy

In 1977 I became so involved in ceramics that it saved my life. For 30 years I have been a theater artist that has worked with youth. Theater is such an ephemeral practice. My work in concrete is utilitarian and solid. My play writing is poetic with subtle rhythm changes that I think John Cage would like. My stained glass work is my poetry for people to look through. I have lived in a Buddhist Temple, climbed the highest peak in Wyoming, traveled cross-country in a van and street-performed in NYC. I believe that people show their beliefs in their actions. I build things because at the end of the day I hope the world is more beautiful to live in.
