Important Notes on Affiliation Procedures 1.

According to new affiliation procedure, where effectiveness of affiliation is decided by the date of affiliation granted by the Sub Committee of NCVT for affiliation, which is mentioned below:(a) 1st January to 30th June will be effective from August of the same year. (b) 1st July to 31st December will be effective from February next year. The candidates of trades/units which were affiliated with NCVT on the date of admission only are eligible for appearing in All India Trade Test (AITT) for the award of National Trade Certificate. The students should seek admission in the ITIs/ITCs after ascertain the affiliation of the trade with the NCVT. It was unanimously decided in Sub-Committee of NCVT for affiliation meeting to allow Standing Committee twice in a year i.e. one for August session and one for February session of every year. The institutes, which do not get inspected or request for postponing inspection after fixing the date, are barred from inspection for one year. The inspections conducted up to 31st July 2009 are considered to grant affiliation to trades/ units w.e.f. August 2009 session. State Governments should constitute the committees on continuous basis for inspection and conduct the inspection (SCIR/DIR/SIR) for next session i.e. February 2010. State Directors are requested to send the inspection report to DGET (HQ) New Delhi within a week from date of inspection but not later than 30th November 2009 for February 2010 session.
