Main shaft

When the main shaft completes one cycle, the switch is turned on once the magnet comes directly below the switch and turned off when it moves away from it. Thus we can count one cycle. Each cycle can tell us how much weave has been produced and we can deduce through a formula the length of fabric being produced. This would also tell if the machine is off or on. If there is no power outage, this mean there is either a mechanical fault or new loom is undergoing article change.
