Conclusion

In conclusion, it is essential that organisations implement strategies that will provide competitively superior fit between the organisation and its environment so as to achieve organisational goals. From the conclusion it can be seen in the evaluation of the three companies that ,Benchill & Sons uses tight costs control to produce cheaply,where as, Speke Furnishings competes and prides it self in the quality and durability of its product , while, Thorntree Office Solutions strategy is to be innovative by creating products to meet the needs of individual consumers.

Conclusion 2
Organisations should combine its competitiveness and HRM strategy to increase its operational performance, moreso,HRM practices encouraged employees behaviour consistent with its business strategy and is able to achieve superior performance. The better fit between an organisations competitive strategy and HRM strategy would increase the organisations performance. Organisations competiveness can be enhanced by HRM practices. There should be a consistency between business strategy and HRM practices for the success of the organisation.
