Introduction Light therapy or phototherapy consists of exposure to daylight or to specific wavelength of light.

. Light therapy is a mood altering treatment, and just as drug treatments, there is a possibility of triggering a manic state from a depressive state, causing anxiety, and other side effects.

Why we need this project? We can use this light for treating the individuals who suffer from delay wakening in the morning..

How we made this project? 1. Connect bulb to switch controller 2. Connect switch controller to music card with using conducting wires 3. Connect music card to power supply which is working automatically 4. Connect power supply to the bulb

HOW does the PROJECT work? Starting half an hour before your set wake-up time, the wake-up light gradually fills your room with bright light like a rising sun. The light gently prepares your body for waking while you are still asleep

So, if the wake-up time is set for 7 am, the light will gradually get stronger starting at 6:30 am.

At 7 am the light will reach its highest level, which you can adjust to your personal preference.

Usage in daily life The wake-up light wakes you up in a natural way with light that gradually increases. It has been clinically proven that waking-up with light improves your well being and several studies have shown that light truly improves wake up quality.

How does it effect? When light hits your eye, the retina transmits impulses to your body clock, located in the hypothalamus. the hypothalamus regulates sleeping, eating, body temperature.. It also affects your energy hormones, preparing your body to woke up.

Advantage It helps wakening easier. Can be used as treatment for delay wakening. Person needs less time to become fully awake.

Conclusion By using this lamp we can sleep and wake up easier and naturally, that makes waking up a more pleasant feeling which helps us to be more active.
