Target Audience: The target audience for this project is a 2nd grade student. The students are 7 or 8 years old and fall into various cultural backgrounds including Caucasian, African American, and Hispanic. The students entry skills include 2nd grade reading, comprehension, and writing skills. Providing their own peers with reviews of various books motivates the students. 3. Objective: Given fiction and nonfiction grade level books, the 2nd grade students will choose one book to read and write a review of the book by incorporating at least three details from the story 100 % of the time.
