NTUC Income is one the most largest insurance company of Singapore which has over 1.8 million policy holders with total assets of 21.3 million. On June 1, 2003 Income succeeded in the migration of its inheritance insurance systems to a digital web-based system.

Before migration Income used the upgrade HP 3000 mainframe that hosted the core insurance applications which was frequently breaking down. And it took too much time to restore the data loss. Income also used the COBL programs which also broke several times and caused temporary interruption .This old business process was really very boring and complicated .

All these problems were solved in June 2003 when Income switched to the Java based eBao LifeSystem from eBao Technology . And Income replace its entire IT infrastructure with a more robust, scalable architecture . Under this new system, all documents were scanned and stored on "trusted" storage devices - secured, reliable digital vaults . As a result of adopting eBao Life System, office staff and advisors could access the system anytime, anywhere . They could successful to able in 50 percent Savings on both the time and cost needed to process policies. And they could use this time in new product launch. NTUC Income still follow this trusted eBao system because it is the best system with much lower cost and much shorter implementation time.
