Work Experience
Girl Guides Saskatoon Aboriginal Outreach Program Coordinator August 2010- May 2011 Duties: Developed and maintained Girl Guide programs in inner city and community schools in Saskatoon for girls who could not afford Girl Guide programs because of financial difficulties. Another objective of my position was to find ways to get more Aboriginal girls involved in Girl Guides and develop the Girl Guide program to include and incorporate more Aboriginal culture and content. Foot Locker Part-Time Sales Associate July 2007-Present Duties: Closing and opening the store and making a deposit; executing exceptional customer service; merchandising clothing and shoes; receiving and organizing stock in the back room. Agrium Potash Mine Warehouse Summer Student May 2011-August 2011 Duties: Shipping and receiving stock; organizing stock in and out of the warehouse; cleaned and counted inventory; helped millwrights and contractors find stock throughout the warehouse. S.T.A.R.S. (Student Teacher Anti-Racism Society) Committee Member August 2011-Present Duties: Meet twice a month to plan events for students and teachers to attend where guest speakers share their insights on anti-racist and anti-oppressive education. Plan an annual conference on anti-racist and anti-oppressive education. I was one of the Masters of Ceremonies for our 2011 EraceISM Conference.

Professional Development
S.A.F.E. (Social Justice & Anti-racism Anti-oppressive Forum on Education) Conference 2011 Two day conference dedicated to centralizing Anti-Racist and Anti-Oppressive pedagogy in Saskatchewan schools. S.T.A.R.S. EraceISM Conference 2011 Full day conference with concurrent sessions on various anti-racist and anti-oppressive topics aimed at eliminating all of the isms in our schools and society. S.A.F.E. Conference 2010 Two day conference dedicated to centralizing Anti-Racist and Anti-Oppressive pedagogy in Saskatchewan schools. S.T.A.R.S Conference 2010 Full day conference with concurrent sessions on various anti-racist and anti-oppressive topics to bring into classrooms. Project WILD 2008 Full day interactive session on environmental and conservation education for educators of kindergarten through high school age young people.

Interests

Actively participate in fastball, basketball, and golf. Avid football fan. Enjoy drama and theatre. Enjoy singing, playing the piano and reading.
