Software Requirements: GMI VM( containing Appserver 3.1 and Wonderware Intouch 10.1) Vmware Player (Setup Available in the shared X drive)

Task Instructions: 1. Connect to this galaxy and Archestra IDE will Open. Start creating the objects for your system by finding the Archestra Object Name template mentioned in the device list. (Press Ctrl+F for quick searching). Create New Instance from your Template . The name of the instance is present in the device list as well.

Double Click the object once it is created and fill in the following UDAs with the values given in the device list DIObject ScanGroup

Once Done Save and Close the Object editor.Assign the objects to the unit mentioned in the device list. Right Click>Assign to>Select the Unit Name 2. Create the following Objects. These are not mentioned in the device list but are required for testing of the system. Template: $PP_RAE_ProcessArea1_T3_T4 Object Name: Engine Template: $PP_ProductionAreas Object Name: Area Template: $PP_RSLinx_PLC Object Name:*Your DIObject Name* 3. For the DIObject created the following settings have to be made : General Tab: Server Node: *your vm system name* Server Name:RsLinx Topic: Add a topic with the name of your Scangroup

4. Assign all the units created for your system to the Engine created.
