CIRCULAR TO PARENTS 12th March 2012 Dear Parent, Kindly note the schedule for the Open House, the Sale of Books & Uniforms and other details pertaining to the end of the academic year.

Open House:
Grades I IV Classes V to IX & XI

Wednesday, 28th March 2012 Thursday, 29th March 2012

8:00 a.m. 12 noon 8:00 a.m. 12 noon

Sale of School Uniforms:

The School Uniform is being sold in the GEMS Millennium School, Sharjah. The sale timing are from 2.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. on working days [Sunday to Thursday] and from 9.30 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. on Saturdays. May I request parents to purchase the uniform now so as to avoid rush during the Open House. . Sale of School Books: Sale of book sets for all classes will be from 28th March 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Loose books will be sold from Tuesday, 3rd April 2012.

New Academic Year :

School will reopen on Sunday, 1st April 2012. Newly admitted students will come on Monday, 2nd April 2012.

School Fees:
As a matter of policy, all fee dues for the academic year must be paid before the Open House. Students having fee arrears will not be given the Report Card / Result and they will not be allowed to attend the school in the new academic year. Do clear your dues, if any, before the Open House to avoid inconvenience.

Transfer Certificate:
Those parents who wish to withdraw their wards from the school are once again requested to apply for the T.C. as soon as possible to enable us to prepare them without delay.

Varkey Gems Foundation (VGF):

The Foundation has initiated several projects in Asia and Africa. As a school we would like our students to develop a caring and empathetic attitude to the underprivileged. The school would like to undertake a charity activity to inculcate these qualities in our students. Those students who would wish to donate their old school uniform are requested to wash, iron and pack them and deposit them with the class teacher during the Open House.
