Installation Instructions for IBM PC or Compatible Plug the B-type connector into the Upstream Port. Plug the A-type connector into a computer. Connect legacy devices to the PS/2 keyboard, PS/2 mouse or RS-232 serial port. After Windows has started ,you should see the following message Step 1 . 3 Port Multifunction Hub with the message Generic USB Hub then use the bundle driver in Windows * . Step 2. PS/2 Keyboard And Mouse I/F with the message USB Human Interface Device then use the bundle driver in Windows * . Step 3. USB Serial Converter with the message USB Serial Converter then use the driver In disk A:\Win98 or A:\Win2000 .Follow the directions presented to you by Windows to correctly load all applicable software driver.

Click My Computer Icon by right-botton of mouse Select Properties item Choose Device Manager selection Double click the Universal Serial Bus Controller item And check Generic USB Hub & USB-to-Serial Converter work properly Double click the Human interface Device item

And check HIDcompliant system device and USB Human Interface Device work properly

Double click the Keyboard item. And check HID-compliant Keyboard work properly Double click the Mouse item. And check HID-compliant Mouse work properly Double click the Ports ( COM & LPT ) item . And check USB Serial Port ( COM3 )work properly
