After the 12 months are sung once, sing along the second time! Next, try to sing it without the iPod to test your memory! Logical-Mathematical (Using Math with Timelines): Do the ten addition and subtraction problems on the worksheet. After, put the answers to the problems in chronological order on the timeline given at the bottom of the page! Visual-Spatial (Visualizing Our Timeline): Close your eyes and walk through the steps of brushing your teeth. Think of all the steps to brushing your teeth, starting with walking into the bathroom and ending with walking out! After imagining, write the steps in chronological order on the blank piece of paper in the folder. Intrapersonal (Write About It): Write a story about your favorite memory. Make sure there are a beginning, middle, and end to your story. Think about a time you had lots of fun in the past! What did you do? After writing, put your beginning, middle, and end on a timeline in chronological order. Interpersonal (Working Together): In a group of three, round robin read, Winners Never Quit! out of your Story Town textbooks. After, work as a group to put 5 events from the story in chronological order on the given timeline. Take turns writing, and use words or pictures to make one timeline together! Bodily Kinesthetic: Cut the four pictures of the seasons out on the dotted lines of the hand out. Cut a strip of construction paper off of the large piece given. Create a timeline by gluing the pictures on the construction paper in chronological order!
