MrPostman is a program that allows you to interface to different webmail services (like Yahoo!

Mail or Hotmail) from a POP mail client. MrPostman is Free Software, released under the terms of the GNU Public License. Webmail Providers Supported: - Yahoo - Hotmail - Mail.com - GMail (Google) - Outlook Web Access (Exchange 5.5) - Outlook Web Access 2003 - indiatimes.com - Gossamer Mail - Juno/Netzero - RediffMail Additionally various RSS feeds are supported: the news can be downloaded as mail s and will include embedded pictures. Prerequisites: Before running MrPostman, you will need a Java Runtime Environment at least 1. 4.0. You can find one on: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.1/download.html Installation: Either: get "install-mrpostman-xxxxxxxx.jar" (xxxxxxxx is the release date) and run it with "java -jar install-mrpostman-xxxxxxxx.jar" (without quotes and with the correct date) (in Windows double-clicking the jar should be sufficient) Or: get "MrPostman-xxxxxxxx.jar" and "mrpostman-scripts-xxxxxxxx.zip" and pu t the jar together with the unzipped content of the zip into a directory. Running MrPostman: Windows with Installation from "install-mrpostman-xxxxxxxx.jar": Use the Links in the start menu or on the desktop. All other: Change to the installation directory and run MrPostman with "java -jar MrPostman-xxxxxxxx.jar" (without quotes and with the correct date) (in Windows double-clicking the jar should be sufficient) Scripts: MrPostman's Generic module uses scripts in the installation directory (or the location configured in its settings) to provide support for webmail providers (e.g. yahoo, gmail, indiatimes, ...).
