0 March 14, 2012 Overview The ATM system developing project will focus on providing a system for the XYZ bank ATMs. XYZ Bank have many ATMs and the system should provide functionality on all The ATMs. Object The system will should enable the customers of XYZ bank who have a valid ATM card to perform three type of transaction, which are: 1- Withdrawal of funds 2- Query of account balance 3- Transfer of funds from one bank account to another in the same bank. Users The client of XYZ Bank. Also, the ATM manager in XYZ bank. Scope: The ATM SS will focus primarily on creating system for the ATM for XYZ bank. But not controlling or changing the Back office system. It will be concern with the ATM only. Specific Requirement The XYZ Bank ATM user should use the ATM if its card meet the following requirement: The card was issued by authorized bank. The card is used after the start date. The card is used before the expiration date. The card has not been reported lost or stolen by the customer, who had been issued that card. The customer provides correct personal identification number (PIN), which matches the maintained by the system.

Terminology ATM: Automated Taller Machine. PIN: personal identification number.
