My family and I have just returned from Rantau Abang in Terengganu. We were there for two days. At Rantau Abang, we were lucky to catch a glimpse of a leatherback turtle. It came up to the beach where our hotel was situated. It was very big about two metres long. It came to lay eggs. The eggs were like ping pong balls but they were softer. We took some pictures with the turtle. Here is one of the photographs taken there. The couple standing behind me is my parents. Mike is the one with spectacles and Susan, my younger sister, is taller than me. I wish you were there with us. It was really fun to look at the live reptile and yet sad to think that the species is slowly becoming extinct. Bye for today. I will write again when I am free.
