Swinging for the Fence in the Month of May

Purpose:
Attendance campaigns are planned each year to increase the churchs attendance by challenging Christians to invite people who do not presently attend a church in an effort to avail them to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Attendance campaigns force us to take time from our busy schedules to allow the Holy Spirit to Lift up our eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. When we do this, we usually find that we have slipped in our effort to evangelize while also inviting others to church.

Visitor:
A visitor is anyone at least 18 years of age, who is not a member of New Testament Baptist Church and has NEVER attended a service at New Testament Baptist Church. Remember: we are trying to reach the unchurched and the un-saved, not the unhappy from other churches. Our thrust is NOT to redistribute the Christians already attending Gospelpreaching churches, but rather to reach those without the Gospel and a church home. *You CANNOT sign-up or recruit visitors whenever they are on the church property. You CANNOT sign-up any scheduled speakers or any member of their family as your visitor. A visitor is someone you invite to church AWAY from the church. When a visitor attends a Sunday morning service during the month of May, he/she will receive a complimentary outfield reserve ticket for the Pittsburgh Pirates versus the Miami Marlins baseball game at PNC Park on Friday, July 20, 2012. If a family of five visits on a Sunday morning during the month of May, they will receive 5 complimentary tickets. A child under 18 must be accompanied by a parent to receive a complimentary ticket. The adult who is responsible for a visiting family attending will receive the same number of complimentary tickets as the visiting family receives. If you are responsible for a visiting family of five, you will receive five complimentary tickets.

The Eternal Perspective:

Each family that has at least one adult participate in the Saturday soul winning activities during the month of May will receive a complimentary outfield reserve ticket for the Pittsburgh Pirates versus the Miami Marlins baseball game at PNC Park on Friday, July 20, 2012.

CHURCH WORK PARTYSPRING CLEANING Saturday, April 21, at 1 PM Lend a hand and help spruce up the buildings and grounds at NTBC. The Spring Cleaning will begin at 1 PM on Saturday, April 21. We need the help of both men and ladies. A couple of our men will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers for those participating.

It will cost approximately $5,000 to seal and re-stripe the parking lot. Building Fund envelopes are available at the Welcome Center or you can use a regular offering envelope and use the Building Fund column.
