ATHMANDU, APR 03 The Nepal Pharmacy Council on Tuesday decided to issue a public letter summoning within 15 days 14 people

who lent their drug store licences to a third party. The NPC move follows Monday's public notice from the Department of Drug Administration seeking names of those who lent licence to ineligible candidates for running drug stores. The misuse of certificates came to light during the inspection conducted by the DDA across the country. The NPC has asked Prasun Kumar Sundar and Jamuna Chapagain of Pokhara based Palungtar Pharmacy and Jamuna Medical Hall, respectively, and Sachita Basnet Dahal of the Tanahu-based Dahal Health Care and Research Centre, to be present at the NPC. The also includes names of those who sold their authority to run drug stores in the Capital.
