ART CRITICISM EXERCISE:

1) Open the blog for your instructions: http://muccva7.blogspot.ca/ 2) Once you get to the stage of using the art website: http://www.famousartistsgallery.com/ you will perform the following tasks 3) Choose one of the famous art works youd like to provide a criticism of. 4) Open a Microsoft Word Document. 5) On the website, Right click and Copy the picture of the art work you selected. 6) In the word document, Right click and Paste the art work. This must be at the very top of your page. (If you resize it make sure you drag it from a corner dont stretch it out!) 7) Directly beneath your picture type the name of the art work, the artists name, the year the art work was created, and the medium (ex: oil on canvas, pastel, etc.). 8) Now go through all 6 steps of Art Criticism as outlined in your close notes. Type up (use Calibri font in size 11, with 1.5 spacing) your formal criticism with the 6 complete sections with underlined and bolded headings. (Note: When you answer section 5, make sure you cite/list your web sources!). Make sure your answers are thorough and detailed.
