MEMORANDUM

TO: FROM: RE: DATE: INTERESTED PARTIES ADAM GELLER SURVEY RESULTS IN CT CD 5 APRIL 9, 2012 There are two fundamental points that are made clear in this survey: First, Republicans are in a strong position generically and according to the issues matrix. Secondly, Andrew Roraback is the strongest Republican running in the race. Key findings from the poll show the following: The Republican leads the Democrat in the generic ballot 41%39%. Top voter issue concerns include jobs/economy (35%) and government spending and debt (14%). Andrew Roraback has a higher name identification (46%) and a far better image (28% favorable, 4% unfavorable) than Justin Bernier (30% ID, 15%-7%) Mike Clark (22% ID, 7%-6%), Mark Greenberg (40% ID, 16%-10%) and Lisa Wilson-Foley (44% ID, 17%-10%). When NEUTRAL information on EACH of the Republican candidates is introduced to voters, only Andrew Roraback exceeds 50% in a hypothetical ballot matchup against a generic Democrat: GOP Percent Roraback Wilson Foley Bernier Clark Greenberg 50% 39% 36% 44% 42% 43% 37% 40% Dem Percent 33% 43%

Finally, after voters are informed of Andrews voting record and his vision, he wins a ballot match-up 57%-29% against the Democrat.
