How to create ECC report?

Steps: 1. create infoset using SQ02 2. create query using SQ01 3. assign custom tcode using se83 here is the detailed explanation of each step

Create infoset using SQ02

1. log in to ecd 2. enter t-code sq01

3. Enter the name required for the infoset and click on create button. 4. Enter the name of the infoset and also the table name as shown in the popup window displayed after hitting the create button

Click the check mark in this screen and it opens the screen shown below 5)

5. Click on the 3 icon which says insert table to add other tables you need to join to get your required query.

6. Add another table PBED 7. Then save the infset which prompts for the transport

The above screen is displayed after saving the infoset. Now drag the fields from the left side to corresponding section on the right the fields required as shown below.And generate the infoset after savingNow assign the usergroup to infoset for examples sales or purchasing and then save.

Create infoset using SQ01

This is step 2 of the query creation. We have to build a query based on infoset. 1. click on tcode sq01 2. Enter the query name and choose create

5. click on the basic list which opens the view like this on the left with the fields from infoset.

6. check the fields you want to see in the report. You have to check whether its a list field or selection field or both 7. save the query and execute. 8. We may work on different options provided for sorting and header and footer etc.

Create custom tcode for the query

1. Go to tcode SE93 Maintain transaction screen as shown below and enter the tcode you want to make for the query.( for example ZREPLFRCST)

Click on create and enter the details as shown in the screen below.
