    A Working Definition of Unemployment

    People able, available and willing to find work and actively seeking work but not employed

    The unemployed are included in the labour force

    Causes of unemployment

    The resources of the country are limited because population has exceeded the optimum level.

    Karachi is the biggest industrial base of Pakistan, but investors are reluctant to invest there because of unrest and violence.

    Lack of education and resources.

    The attitude of our youth towards the choice of a career is unrealistic and unproductive.

    Lack of enough industries to employ ever increasing number of graduate in Pakistan

    Opportunities are not enough and system of reference is so much indulged in our society.

    Encouragement of New Growth Centers in Small Towns and Rural Areas

    In order to attract the foreign investment, government should take some serious steps towards the bad law and order situation of the country.

    Who is more successful businessman or government employee?

    why we want to have for government jobs?


    Government employee has a job security, what ever the circumstances they will get salary. Monetary benefits.. Many people run small business, if their is a strike they will not earn a single rupee No investment is required.

    Suggestions:

    Govt. needs to b more sincre with its country, Corruption should be eliminated.

    Proper utilization of resources are required to increase the exports.
