CHALLENGE PROBLEM This is a good chance for you to practice not freaking out. Take a look at the web site with the instructions below and see if you can make any sense of the task. Remember to relax during the upset and to try to engage to figure out whats going on. If you cant, walk away and try again another time. NEVER give up, but always give yourself another chance. Take a look at how a photograph is enlarged proportionally. The idea is that youre looking to see if the ratios (3:4 6:12) are proportional. If they are, when you enlarge them they fit perfectly. If you enlarge them and they dont fit perfectly, theyre not proportional. The activity asks you to drag the equals sign into the box if the ratios are proportion and the sign into the box if the proportions are not equal. http://www.learnalberta.ca/content/mejhm/index.html?ID1=AB.MATH.JR.NUMB&ID2 =AB.MATH.JR.NUMB.RATE&lesson=html/video_interactives/rateRatioProportions/rat eRatioProportionsInteractive.html
