Welcome to Salamanca

Salamanca is in Castilla-Leon in Spain. It is a very good place to visit.

In the picture you can see the university of Salamanca. It is one of the best universities in the world. You can go to the cathedral, too. You can also go to Plaza Mayor because there are good restaurants to eat and spend the day. You can eat ham from Guijuelo because it is said to be the second best ham and you can eat it with beer. If you have time, you can go to Guijuelo because there are good shops, good restaurants, good hotels and, obviously, a good ham.
