Activity Lesson Name: Thanksgiving Hunt


Procedures

lntroductory Activity: r Ask students about the story Llttle Red Riding Hood. Ask what some of her travellng challenges might have been walking through the forest. e Divide students lnto teams of 5-6 students per team r Class will be set up as a "forest obstacle" r Warm-ups will be to jog for 4 mlnutes around the outside of the obstacle course Activity Descrlption: r Students will be paired lnto 5 teams of 5-6 students Each team will proceed through the obstacle "trail" whlch will be demonstrated to the class during the warm up activity At the end of the "trail" students are to select one of the slx plctures located face-down on the ground wlthout looklng at the plcture, They then take thls picture to their team where it can then be flipped over and it will be stored. lfthe team already has that picture, the student needs to go
