DEVELOPMENT OF SUN TRACKING SOLAR PANEL TO MAXIMIZE ENERGY GENERATED IN SATELLITES

AIM OF THE PROJECT

The main objective of this project is to develop an

embedded system which will track the sun for maximizing the energy generated from a solar panel of the satellite.

WORKING OF OUR PROJECT

In this project we are using AT89S52 micro

controller which belongs to 8051 family developed by ATMEL. Here we are using sensors called as LDR(light dependent sensors) these are connected to the micro controller through the ADC The main use of ADC is it used to convert the analog data into digital data. The sensors sensed information will be in nonelectrical format and internally it contains transducer which converts into analog signal called electrical signal

The analog signal is sent to the ADC which

converts into digital data and the converted data is send to the micro controller. The controller takes the data and processes the data according to the coding given internally. The different LDRs produces different values what we call it as the intensity of light. Based on the intensity of light where the maximum intensity light is present the motor direction changes at that direction.
