Create a bandwidth policy on Firewall rule based.

Step1. Go to Policy Bandwidth Policy Create.

Step 2. Please, select the fields as per the requirement. Select Firewall rule in Policy based section if, you want to apply this policy to the firewall rule. Policy type would be strict if you want to apply dedicated bandwidth in the firewall rule. Total bandwidth would be in KB. i.e if you want to create a bandwidth policy for 256Kbps then select 32 in Total bandwidth (32*8=256). Assign priority 0 which is the highest priority. You can apply priority as per the requirement. Same way 7 would be the lowest priority. Note: If you want to create a bandwidth policy user base then, select User in Policy based section and this can be applied to user and will be useful when we use authentication. Same thing can be done for logon pool. Click on Create button.

Step 3. If you select Policy type as committed then, you can assign Upload + download as a total or individual of both (Upload + download).

Step 4. You can apply individual (Upload+Download) as per below in the Bandwidth Policy. In below case, you can get 64kbps guaranteed bandwidth for uploading and 128Kbps for downloading. Same way you will be able to utilize 256Kbps Burstable bandwidth for uploading and downloading.

Step 5. Apply this policy in the LAN WAN firewall rule. You can apply this bandwidth policy to the select hosts as well. Just apply this policy in the firewall rule as

per below. If, you apply this policy to specific host, make sure that, you move that firewall rule on the top.
