Hi folks, I took me about one night, many coffee and pomelo juice (oh god, yes I do really love pomelo juice), to work off, test and compile this release, which should have been only mine. But as I got it fucking working brilliantly for some weeks, I thought I had to share it with the whole community. H2O guys are off; I did a part of the job - but I wanna thank Steinberg's developers and designers for their super-good work. My Syncrosoft crack worked well, but the prog kept crashing for a long time until they finally fixed the bugs in their own work. I repeat H2O's motto: "DON'T MAKE MONEY USING WAREZED SOFTWARE" Please you all pros, buy a legit copy of this brilliant program if you use it. To all the amateurs and enthusiasts, have a nice kick using this sonic weapon. - Smack Jack Removed: THIS VERSION OF CUBASE STUDIO HAS NO FUCTIONALITIES STRIPPED OUT, APART FROM THOSE LISTED BELOW. IT WILL EVEN RUN FASTER, AS IT DOES NOT USE ANY DONGLE EMU. - Help & Docs in other languages than English. They all can be found and downloaded from ftp.steinberg.net - Halion One & its sound banks - Steinberg brand new synthesizers (Prologue ). Even when I first installed CS4, I didnt find them (Bug ?) - Some other things, I just don't remember now. Mustnt be too important if I dont recall them 3 Steps Installation Instructions Step 1 Run Setup.exe Cancel Syncrosoft Copy Protection Driver Installation (Wont actually cancel the whole Setup) Step 2 Apply Patch from Patch folder Step 3 Run CS_4.1.3.853_hotfix.msp Thats it! Your feedbacks important. I wont release WaveLab 6 and Nuendo 4, still I simply dont own them. But if someone gives me an ISO, youll maybe get them for Christmas, who knows Issues: While opening projects made on older versions (ie, SX3, from H2O), CS4 will freeze or crash. If youre currently working on e some projects, consider finishing them before switching to Cubase 4. Same problem may appear with projects made on other computers while changing VST connections to match your soundcard. I had the program closing itself while routing tracks and buses. As usual, be patient, Steinberg will fix it. (Erros related to Audioprimitives.opt) Some old VST & VSTi seem to screw up CS4. They are listed bellow, but this list may not be complete and wrong; I red it on the Net. IVORY - VIRTUAL Bassist 1 - Groove Agent 2 Hypersonic - Hallion 3.xx - BFD Drums Moreover, ReWire works fine, but I strongly advise you on removing ReWire Support if you have no use of it (Simply move or delete ReWire.dll from Cubase Directory in Program Files, and /or WINDOWS/system32). The cleaner you system is, the more reliable it is to. To improve stability, I did also delete Rex Shared Library.dll. My apologizes for Propellerheads Software users. Windows XP Professional SP3 x86(32 Bits Windows Vista All versions x86(32 Bits) I strongly advise you on making a clean install of Windows, with full disk-formatting.If you had previous cracked products from Steinberg (ie, from H2O), the dongle-emu may (or may not, but just to be sure, remove it) interfere with CS4. I keep using WinXp on my production computer, on which there're no antivirus, no games, no sharewares, no internet connection; obviously, no shit! This is the only way to keep your machine away from crap and sneaky stuff. Cubase is professional sequencer and may not be supported by some hardware (motherboard, soundcard). Don't bitch me if the program doesnt work on your machine (It did for me on 6 different computers, laptops and desktops even an old P4 256mb RAM). Thats hardly Cubases fault.
