Rose: Hi today we are going to be informing you about our music video and what, why and how we will be doing it. Demi: Our music video is going to be for the song Im blue by Effiel 65; it was released in 1999 as a single from their debut album Euro pop. Rose: the song is the groups most popular single, reaching number one in many countries such as Ireland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, France, Sweden, Australia and Germany. As well as reaching six on the billboard hot hundred in the United States. Demi: This song also received a Grammy award nomination for best dance recording at the 2001 Grammy awards.

Why we have chosen this song

Demi: We have chosen this song because there were many ideas with good possibilities to go with this song. Rose: Also we express our creative and humorous ideas through this futuristic song. Demi: This is because the songs lyrics sing Im blue and its in first person so therefor we have chosen to use a character in our video and have the video all around him.

What is our music video is about Rose: Our music video is about our character Blue; he goes on a journey shopping

for the day. Our video is going to capture the publics reactions.

there, we will be doing this by capturing blue getting up in the morning, eating his breakfast, leaving his house, getting on the train, shopping, eating, and then leaving. But whilst all that we will be capturing the peoples reaction to Blue walking in the shopping centre and getting on a train. But this will all be in a funny sense.

Why we will think our video will sell? Rose: We think our music video will sell because it has a lot of humour and causality

to it; this makes people feel comfortable with watching it. It also applies to people of all ages as its humorous and a clubbing tune. Why you should give us the camera Demi: You should lend us the camera because we would like to show you that we can be very successful in making our music video.
