First Roll of a Test Additional Rolls of a Test Roll Again Focusing Each round spent doing nothing butFocusing increases your Boost Rangeby one increment. e.g., If you spendone round Focusing, and then on thenext round perform a Throw test, you will score a Boost on a roll of 5 or 6.If you first spent two rounds Focusing,your will score a Boost on a roll of4, 5, or 6, etc. Stepping Up If you need to perform a test wheretime is not a factor, you may Step Upand automatically perform the test at one grade level higher (no roll isrequired). Some situations, at theNarrators discretion, may not allowfor Stepping Up. Teamwork Two or more characters may worktogether to perform a test. Choose onecharacter to be the leader (usually the onewith the highest grade in the particulartrait being tested). The rest of thecontributing characters give the leaderone six-sided die. The leader then rolls allthe dice and determins the result. A character must have one or more gradesin the trait being tested to contribute.
