Introduction
Artificial Neural Networks
Mathematical model/Computational Model N/w with interconnected group of artificial Neurons. ANN is adaptive system

Problem Statement
Design and Training Noise

Neural Network

Input (960 pixel)

Identification

Output

Architecture of Neural Networks

Principle: Back Propagation artificial Neural Network

Training
During training, a lot of known noise pictures are inputted to the neural network. Now the network is tested for errors by increasing the noise levels in the training pictures Thus this continued till we have minimum or no errors

System Performance

Dashed line:Without noise Blacked Line:With noise

Testing

Applications i) Security. ii) Tracking. iii) Multimedia. iv) Entertainment domains. Demerits i)Frontal size. ii)Training large database. iii)Pose Variation.

Conclusion
Face recognition is challenging problems and there is still a lot of work that needs to be done in this area. Over the past ten years, face recognition has received substantial attention from researchers in biometrics, pattern recognition, computer vision.
