Based on principle of buoyancy force, B

For water at 20oC, g= 62.3 lb/ft3 => B= (62.3 lb/ft3)V

Given that the S.G. for liquid x in tank = 0.9. The P = in the tank is 0.5 bar. Given that the total height for the tank is 10 m. What is the level of liquid from the top of the tank?

If the input signal for the dp level transmitter is 0 1500 mmH2O and the output value is 4 -20 mA. What is the level of the tank measured from the bottom of the tank if the signal transmitted from the dP meter is 16 mA? Given that the SG for the liquid is 0.8.

Output: 4 -20 mA

Input: 0 -1500 mmH2O

For the same conditions as in earlier question, what is the level of the liquid in the tank?
60% of liquid A

S.G. liquid A: 0.5 S.G. liquid B: 0.7

40% of liquid B

Output: 4 -20 mA

Input: 0 -1500 mmHg
